IPL SEASON – 12 is half done. The teams are now in the most difficult state of mind with the most crucial matches on the line. In this post, I take a look at each team’s possibilities and possible road to playoffs. Each match for every team right now is like an eliminator as each point and NRR’s .001 difference also matters.
Every team knows a lot about the other team as each team has played a minimum of 8 matches. The opponent team knows the other’s strategies, key players etc. As IPL is done halfway, many teams are also facing problems such as:-
- Player Fatigue
- New Strategies
- More Pressure
- Playing XI options for the future matches
- …. And uncountable other problems.
Some teams look in good condition to qualify for the playoffs but some are lying on the edge, but no one has lost hope of qualifying for the playoffs.
The problems with some teams is also turning out be their match schedule or international fixtures etc. Many teams are either having continuous matches or huge gaps between matches which is not only a little problem as the statistics in the table get a little entangled but also the viewers keep getting confused as the deadline to qualify seems to be around the corner.
If we take a look at all the teams then we can divide them in three groups, according to their chances to qualify, as follows:-

Each team has its own advantages and disadvantages at the moment. So, each team has its own Road To Playoffs.
