The Australian side’s batting line up wasn’t very impressive down the order after the two openers as they all fell very cheaply but the great start given by the two Australian openers was what helped Australia clinch another title. The Indian bowlers were not able to provide a breakthrough as the Australian’s were able to decipher the techniques of the Indian bowlers and they didn’t come up with something new. Alyssa Healy tried to hit every ball for a boundary and after more than half the innings only, was Radha able to take advantage of that and then take the first wicket against the Australians.

Frankly, the Indians also faced problems with the height. They were not being able to reach for the balls which just passed over them whereas the Australian were able to, while fielding. The Australian showed some exceptional running skills both in between wickets and around the field, also a place where they beat the Indian side and gained advantage.

The Indian top order fell very quickly and the batswomen down the order werent able to do much. They also didnt have much experience in this year’s Women’s WT20. The crucial wicket of Shafali Verma kind of decided the fortune for the two sides.

CONGRATULATIONS TO AUSTRALIA!

The Indian side needs to pay attention to their agility and field placement as there were some very important and big loopholes.

It might be considered, that the Indian team wasn’t that experienced or in practice may be and melted under pressure. But these pressure scenarios are the real test. The experienced batswomen like Harmanpreet Kaur and Veda Krishnamurthy also failed to lift the Indian side’s situation. So, a lot of things require attention. All the best to India.
