F1 – TIRED OF TYRE TALKS? – HAVE THEM EXPLAINED – F1 2020

Tyres move the car! Tyres are rotated by the engines inside the car and they rotate, this rotation around the center of the tyre results in displacement of the car, as the tyre cover a distance equal to its circumference in one single rotation. When this tyre keeps on rotating, the car keeps on moving and if the speed of its rotation increases, the car accelerates and when brakes are applied, the cars stop due to less energy provided and due to friction and hence the car decelerates until accelerated again or brought to a halt.

THE ROARING HUNGARORING

The actions had started even before the actual race had begun as Pierre Gasly took a new Power Unit and Verstappen crashed into the barriers at Turn 12 when coming from the pits to the starting formation grid after changing his tyres to Intermediate as all teams felt that the track was a little greasy or wet as of that time but there was one time which decided otherwise and decided that they will start the race from the pits and change the tyres to slick tyres as they understood that the track was dry enough and soon wold dry even more. This helped them get their first points for the season.
